I design and make furniture with the same care and attention to detail as my bespoke kitchen furniture. Tables, beds, wardrobes, bathrooms, studies and offices either built in or free standing, anything - almost!
Before any timber is worked care is taken to create plans and drawings that enable you to visualize the furniture. Sketches and notes are turned into 3D and plan drawings. Upon approval we can put tools to wood.
Timber, tools and hands interpret the drawings, working to create a finished piece of furniture. Furniture built to last and unique to you.
It is always a joy to make free standing pieces, whether it be a table, wardrobe, bookcase, bed, desk or some other item. All furniture can be painted or finished with an oil to bring the natural beauty of the wood.
Commissioning fitted furniture (such as for a bedroom or office) follows a similar process to our handmade kitchens. We start with taking accurate measurements of the space and discuss the design and its form and function. A set of drawings is then produced from which, subject to approval, we can start work.
